Job Description

In your role as Digital Marketing Manager at Dugga, you combine your creative communication skills and technical savviness to create, implement, and coordinate Dugga’s online marketing efforts. You spend most of your day organizing Dugga’s strategic growth efforts and using the latest web and marketing systems to capitalize on current trends. From leading email campaigns and marketing automation to executing clear, concise brand messaging across all online platforms. You are a professional expert at digital marketing and have experience of working for an international SAAS company. You have a strong interest in Edtech and are passionate in making a difference in the world of education whereby each individual deserves equal opportunities to learn and grow. In this role, you work closely with and report to the company’s CMO.

Role and Responsibilities

In your role as Digital Marketing Manager, your core responsibilities include:

  • Updating the company’s website (WordPress) - In your role you are the gatekeeper for the company’s website. Whether developing web content, ensuring all content is up to date, or measuring the success of specific web pages, you make sure the website performs at optimal capacity.
  • Overseeing lead generation - Our company is driven by strategic digital marketing efforts to generate leads. In your role as digital marketing manager you plan, oversee, and execute efforts to attract (new) customers and increase product usage and sales. You are familiar with using highly comprehensive online acquisition systems to improve our strategic digital marketing efforts.
  • Analyzing trends - The digital world changes at breathtaking speeds. Therefore, you keep yourself informed and are aware of the latest developments in the industry.
  • Creating effective marketing campaigns - Using the latest technology, you create and coordinate marketing campaigns on multiple digital platforms to boost revenue for the company's products identified as marketing priorities. Campaigns include email and search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing (SEM) strategies.
  • Reporting analytics - In your role you monitor the results of digital marketing efforts and report any successes or shortcomings to the company’s CMO.

Skills and Qualifications

In addition to a creative mind and digital expertise, you have the following essential skills:

  • Experience and demonstrated ability - of working with and coordinating/ leading digital marketing and MarCom campaigns for international markets. 
  • Communication skills – a large part of your role as digital marketing manager in your day-to-day job is spent on creating strong, brand-infused copy to reinforce Dugga’s mission and product value. Top-notch writing and editing skills are required in both English and Swedish.
  • Web coding – In your role as digital marketing manager, you are responsible for the company’s website which requires a strong understanding of WordPress, (HTML and CSS).
  • Marketing automation – you are familiar with working across multiple digital channels. You are well-versed in the world of marketing automation and have a particularly strong understanding of SEO and SEM and how these practices drive revenue.
  • Social media savvy – you are familiar with the current social media platforms and their effectiveness in promoting services and products to targeted audiences. You have solid experience of planning, creating and executing social media campaigns and follow-ups.
  • Analytical skills – in your role as digital marketing manager you can quantify and analyze campaign results and make recommendations on ways to improve and increase the success of marketing efforts.
  • You are structured in the way you work and lead campaigns
  • You are self-motivated, curious and driven 
  • You have excellent skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
